Rain's Basic Info
Character Name: Rain Holiday
Character Race: Hume
Character Age: 21
Character Gender: Male
Character Occupation: Ninja
Alignment: Neutral
Weapon of Choice
Parasol - A dark blue parasol with a crook handle roughly a meter in length. The inner construct reinforced with Opal, and the outer fabric made of thick cloth, making the parasol thicker and more appropriate for use as a weapon. Besides this, the parasol is nothing extraordinary or special.
Character Appearance
Black hair falling in long strands over his thin face, his mouth clothed by a flowing blue scarf, this is Rain. Rain stands at 5"6', not particularly tall but fine with his height. His build is slender, perfect for sneaking and moving quickly. He wears a white long coat and jeans, the coat accented by polished gold buttons. His voice smooth silk tones, though rarely heard.
Character Personality
Rain doesn't understand the concept of sharing or equality. He works for himself and himself only. You'd think that someone who uses a parasol as a weapon would be delicate and effeminate, but Rain is neither. He is harsh and occasionally rude, but he never means any real harm. He works as a thief, it being the only thing he's known, living on the streets as a kid, then growing up in a corrupt world. He has become distant, usually thinking things a step ahead instead of making chatter, slowly becoming more silent day by day.
Character's History
As a child, Rain was abandoned. Knowing no other way to survive, Rain turned to thievery. As he grew older, he became better and better at what he did, his swiftness rivalling that of a ninja. However, at the age of fifteen, he fell madly in love with Serah, a girl who worked in a gift shop. Their romance was exciting and magnificent, Rain somehow always giving better gifts, always bought with someone else's money. Then, one day he bought a parasol for his girlfriend from the gift shop with money he actually earned for himself, then the 'incident' happened. A monster like one that has never been seen had killed Serah. Angry at the world, Rain became distant, and quit trusting people. The parasol he bought was turned into a weapon, and to this day the parasol remains the only thing he's legitimately bought.
Character's Fighting Style
Rain has a defensive fighting style, and will parry for several minutes before finding a weakness or a place to strike. Because of how ineffective his weapon is for killing, Rain prefers to avoid confrontation or run when in a fight. He will use both the crook as a handle and use it to trip people in battle. He does this by quickly flipping his parasol in the air, tripping the opponent, then quickly flipping it back.

Why is Opera doing nothing? Does she not have a life other then this? Does Embera have a reason for not helping Finalii? Is she doing it to spite him? These thoughts and more raced through Finalii's mind. Why is this happening? This doesn't make any sense. What is it that makes people want to live? What is it that makes Navis act the way they do? Is it because they live in spite of death? In spite of the fact that eventually they'll all be forgotten? Was everyone just pawns of higher beings? Were their actions just some celestial game of fate played by cruel gods?
It didn't matter. Finalii had come here to join Embera in the resistance, although he didn't know why particularly. Finalii felt like suddenly so many things were unfamiliar. Embera was almost like a ghost in his mind. She was standing next to him, and yet she feels so far away.
"Embera. . . thanks. . . I guess. . . umm. . . uh. . . could I join the resistance?. . ."
Finalii's voice trailed off. Did Embera have a reason not to help? Could he be deleted on the spot for asking? What about the time when he had spazzed out over coffee? Was it just forgiven? What about him owing her for rescuing him from jail? Without Embera's fire element Finale would still be rotting away. In fact, if Finalii had not been rescued, his Viral relations would have been discovered and he probably would have been deleted. Permanently. Did Embera know this? Was she going to say he owed her his life? Was Finalii unknowingly signing himself into slavery by joining the resistance?
Finalii had a headache. He decided he shouldn't think too hard about why people do things. It didn't make much sense. In retrospect though, it honestly made just about as much sense as all of Finalii's life up to now. Ion, Trance, Xyz, Namkcab. . . were they all just people who were tricking him? That wanted to control him?
"Why? Mrs. Opera, why are you doing that? - Just waiting. Isn't that boring? Why do you live?"
He wanted to know. He wanted answers as to why everyone was suddenly like a stranger to him. Finalii would have quickly accepted Opera as an ally. . . but was she really on his side? Who was she really? Despite this, all Finalii's voice sounded like when he asked her about life was a mumble.
