Characters Appearing: li and whoever joins~ Location: random area in the forest Time of Day: night Plot Summary: things are a-creepin' in the forest~
In the darkness shadows writhe...What awaits in the shadows of the night? Today the red around his eyes seemed exceptionally bright, the soft blue dimmed and dull. The dirty blond prowled through the forest, winding his way through the trees and looking to and fro, on the alert, aware to everything going on around himself. Lately, things had been getting boring for the mad healer, and that irritated him. He simply hated boredom, and would do anything necessary to relieve it, because when he was bored, his energy just seemed to store up, and up, and up until he couldn't contain it anymore.
And when that happened, bad things occurred. Humming softly, Li lightly dragged his gauntlet's claws across the bark of the three, fragments of the wood falling to the ground below and disappearing into the grasses. Around him, he could see the movements of animals in the distance, and hear them, but he wasn't interested in the blood of some animal. No, today he wanted something richer, something that was much more fun. Yet, in this place, it seemed there was very little of what he was hunting for.
Truly a shame.
Pausing at the top of a small cliff, he surveyed the forest below. A wind whispered through the area, tugging at his locks and his crimson hat, yet not strong enough to pull it away, only to soothe. Licking his lips, he looked carefully for any signs of sentient life. Something that would be more amusing to toy with then an animal, though he had no intention of killing them. He only wanted to play a little game today. Yet it seemed that he was woefully short on playmates. Stepping off of the cliff casually, he dug his gauntlet's claws into the side of it, slowing his descent and allowing him to skid in a controlled manner to the bottom of it, sending rocks and the like falling everywhere.
Wandering through the forest, Li smiled softly, eyes turning upwards towards the hidden sky, the trees here too thick for him to make anything out, but he knew that it was night. As they say, in the night is when the dark things come out to play~ and he considered himself one of those things.
Then, a stroke of luck! A tiny trail, weaving its way through the trees. Though it was obviously mainly used by animals, he could catch the signs that people used it too, though not very often. So, if he went down this path then it would make sense that he might, just might get lucky and encounter someone else, a toy, a playmate, whatever it was that they were going to be to him. His claws twitched in excitement at the thought, it had been far too long since he'd gone out and done this type of thing, and how he was looking forward to it now. "Come out, come out, wherever you are~" Li sang out softly, giving a twirl, arms outstretched. "On your knees, you beg to know, what seeds of fate the devils sow...Ask you may and ask you will, the fate of love on this fair day~"

The cold night wind blew past his robe like jacket. The ends twirled in the wind. A figure of about 5'6-5'8 stood at the entry-way of the sleeping forest. His name was Vig. Wildly spiky, but long hair, flew in the wind as well. Goggles rest upon his head, along with blue eyes on his face. His jacket covered the bottom of his face like a scarf, which was good for cold nights such as this. A red dragon-like design rest upon his jacket, while a sword rest in a sheath behind his back.
Vig kept his eyes closed as he contemplated on if he should enter the dark forest or not. It's not that he was afraid, it was that he didn't really know if he wanted to fight today or not. Though, he didn't hesitate to step in. The male walked throughout the forest, his hands resting in the sleeve of the opposite arms. "I wonder what lies within this forest anyway...." Vig said very bored like. He didn't seem so amused by this dark forest.
As he wandered, he could hear a voice, but he couldn't quite make out the words within the voice. He followed the voice, hoping he could see something exciting for once.

He would walk along the dirt path that layed in the middle of the forest, his staff dragging against the hard sand, the sound of the scraping echoing around him. He would notice how dark the forest had become after he got into the thicker part of the woods. Along with it being the evening, that contributed to the darkness that was spread across the forest. The only source of light, was the Moon Stone he had levitated infront of him. He knew summoning was good for something. Why not conjur the moonstone itself into a creature that would obey him. Of course it still kept the crystal, arrow head like form, it still seemed to have a mind of its own, and move around and jot through the forest around him within a 15 foot radius. He would sigh deeply as he would smack his staff on the ground. '..What is wrong with people at night. They should be out enjoying the moonlight, instead they sit in thier houses, protected by the Guards that roam this god forsaken excuse of a city..' Aequus would think to himself. Although he had done nothing but sit around in his house, and watch people walk by, buying potions and weapons and such from local merchants. Although fighting others in the city would result in obvious prison time, people were allowed to buy them. Most that bought them though were either Guards that had obvious weapon permits, or people that paid a little more coin to get it. In this city, if you had the cash, you could get whatever from local merchants. Aequus would stop, planting himself up against a tree, as he would call out to his Moonstone to return to him. As the stone returned, he would notice a faint silhouette in the distance, along with what sounded like singing. He was curious, but not enough to get up and go to the figure himself. Instead, he would glance above him, noticing a owl sitting in a tree. With one swift motion, the male whisked his staff around, shooting a small blueish beam at the owl. The then flew towards him. Aequus then tapped him eyelid and then the owl, so that he could see what the owl saw. With that he looked at the owl "..Alright my avian friend, i need you to fly over to that figure over there, and see what he is and what he is doing.." With that the bird began flapping its wings, ascending to about 30 feet above ground, flying through the forest. The bird would land on a branch next to the silhouette, observing who this male was. With that, the owl flew back to him, landing next to him softly. He then snapped, allowing the owl to return to its normal evening activities. Aequus seemed interested in this figure, and decided to see what he was up to. He got up, and begin to walk towards the male who was singing, his Moonstone placing itself back at the top of his staff......

Still walking with his hands folded in the sleeves of the opposite arms', Vig got closer to the voice. He looked up at a branch, and saw an owl, very suspiciously staring at a figure below. He stood on the ground, looking down where the ground had a drop off. A figure walking off, seeming a bit looney in Vig's eyes, could be seen. Vig looked back up at the owl. The owl had already been on it's way.
Vig pushed off the ground with his feet, and jumped silently to the branch, which the owl stood on. His hands now released from the sleeves. The male made another silent jump to another branch, in another tree ahead of him. Vig was following this guy. He didn't know why, maybe he just wondered if there would be something exciting up ahead.
The male caught up with the singing male, and stood in the tree leaning up against it watching as he kept walking off. "This guy is nuts..... 'Come out, come out wherever you are?' What? Is he playing hide and seek with someone?" Vig whispered quietly to himself.
Reason Modified: The third word "With" was spelled as "Wish" I wanted to modify that.

[ Ah! I apologize for taking some time to reply back, been having a busy week. ;n;] Laughing softly, Li grinned to himself, continuing to sing new verses of the song, as he continued to wander down the path at his leisure. It wasn't as though he was in a rush after all, he had as much time as he could ever want to wait for someone to show up. And someone would show, of that he was certain. Because he had the luck of the devil, and things so often seemed to go his way, in his view anyways, that he had simply decided to take it for granted and do whatever, whenever he wanted and however he wanted. A brat perhaps...call him what you may, it didn't change what he was, and it never would.
And lo and behold, what do you know. Just few more choruses into his song, a curious thing happened. An owl acting strangely. Red tinged eyes darted over to look at it, lips lifting in cold amusement. The owls of this forest didn't act like that, so that meant there was something amiss here, something strange and new. Things that were out of the ordinary of course required investigations, and he was always happy to find new things out that he could use to his advantage. Amused, his eyes followed the owl, giving a twirl as he hummed out a tune, watching carefully to see where it went.
Its behavior reminded him of some of the falconers in the village where he had lived, birds who had been raised, tamed, and trained by their handlers until they would understand and do almost everything that they were told to. If that owl was being handled by someone, then that would mean he wasn't alone in this place~ Which meant that the fun times for Li were about to begin. "What a delight, this place is such a fright~" He sang out softly to himself, allowing a brief smirk. If he wanted to lure in anyone who might be a-creepin' about, then he had to make sure that he was as non-threatening as possible.
Fortunately for him, now his looks worked in his favour. He knew that he was 19 years old, but his body gave the illusion that he was younger. Around 16 or 17, and he made full use of that. A cute young boy with big, blue eyes and a friendly smile wasn't anything to be scared of after all~ And he made sure that they didn't know what he really was until it was too late for them to escape. Happily, he stopped and gave a stretch, the red brim of his hat tilting backwards slightly, a soft gust of wind causing his ragged scarf to whip to and fro. "It really sucks to be lost in this place, but it is kind of like an adventure at least." He lamented, not a trace of the lie in his voice or body language, his long sleeves hiding the glistening gauntlets...

The curious male, Vig, noticed the figure as being a strange, but friendly person. It wasn't anything to fear, in Vig's eyes. But he noticed that the figure was acting as if it knew something. As if it knew it were being followed, but didn't care. Vig brushed his thoughts aside, and kept moving.
He pushed down on the branch with his feet, and jumped silently down to a branch below, grabbing it and swinging, landing swiftly on the ground behind the figure. "Well hello there sir. Quite a nice evening isn't it?" Vig said. Though the night was cold and windy, he still stated that it was a nice night.

Aequus would continue to walk along the path his moonstone now dimmed, enough to where he could see, but not to alert others of his presence. Although he seemed to notice something moving about the trees, he didnt fret on it. He knew there were creatures in the forest. But nothing more then little petty beings. As he walked he noticed the singing continued. Although he couldnt make out exactly who the silhouette was, he still noticed that the figure was probably a hume, and probably around 16. It was unlikely, all the younger kids were out and about during the night, looking for some sort of excitement. Aequus couldn't blame them. With the amount of security in the city, it was hard to do anything half exciting without you being told to not do that. The only exicting thing you could do was to go out in the forest at night, and to find something or someone to hurt. It wasnt a good thing, but yet almost the only devious thing you could do without Vlad and his minions stopping you. He stopped walking as he heard the thing leaping through the trees, leap right by him. He smiled faintly. '..At least someone is getting some entertainment..' he thought to himself. He noticed though, the other male that was singing, was now confronted by the acrobatic figure that had been tree hopping. He decided they were two friends. Considering thier height, they couldnt be any of Vlad's minions. He decided to have some fun with the two that had been talking. He pointed his staff out toward the two, and released a tiny amount of energy from within him, allowing it to manifest into a pulse of blueish magical energy that shot at them. Not enough to harm them whatsoever. Only enough to rush by them, sort of like a small breeze, only this breeze had a blueish light to it. He chuckled, as he looked at the two. " How are ya' two tonight? Having a little fun tonight are we? I dont think you two are quite old enough to be out and about at this time.."

"Well hello there sir. Quite a nice evening isn't it?"
Li smirked, hearing the soft thud as the unknown person behind himself hit the ground, his eyes dancing with amusement. So he had been correct, there was someone here. Now to play his part. "Oh!" Li's eyes widened, as if startled and a little bit frightened before he whirled around, taking in a small gasp of breath, before relaxing when seeing it was just another traveler. "Ohhh hello..." He gave a weak smile and nodded. "Y-yes, it's not bad. Are you lost too?" Curiously he tilted his head, looking at him.
After a moment he continued onward. "I'm lost. Some sort of animal thing attacked me and I left the path...Now I have no idea where I am." Helplessly, he shrugged and smiled weakly. Li knew that travelers would often get themselves lost when they accidently or purposefully left the paths that was mainly woven through it, the 'main' path. Then they would helplessly wander around, and around, and around until eventually they died from exposure or a wild beast got to them. Not a nice fate.
Suddenly, something shot past the two of them, some sort of blue wind or something by the looks of it. Taking in a 'startled blink', Li looked around as though startled and wondering what it was. Well, he did want to know what it was, but behind those innocent, wide eyes his mind was calculating the distance and area from which it had come from. Now, it couldn't be an animal so that suggested it was another person. And they must not be meaning to attack, since they had not only given away their position, but the wind hadn't harmed either of them.
Then, they revealed themself, whoever they were. "How are ya' two tonight? Having a little fun tonight are we? I dont think you two are quite old enough to be out and about at this time.."
"Another person." Li turned to look at this new person. "You startled me..." He smiled weakly and gave a sheepish laugh, rubbing the back of his head. What an interesting person this one was. Both of them seemed like they were going to be extremely fun toys to play with. Though it was not yet time for him to make a move. First he had to earn some form of trust, make them at ease and relaxed. "I-I'm okay...But what do you mean not old enough? I'm sixteen." Li crossed his arms, giving a brief sulky look before relaxing, as though he was used to being made fun of for looking young.

The male blankly looked at the fellow traveller, and answered quickly. "No I am just out on a nightly walk. I know my way around. Do you need help getting back?" Vig stated as he offered to help. He folded his arms within the sleeves of the opposite arms as he looked at him waiting for an answer when suddenly a blue aura-like wind rushed by. He could tell that neither of the two were harmed. He looked toward the direction of where the wind came from and saw the figure.
"I am 21, my kind sir, for I am perfectly old enough to be out here. This one is lost as well. I will guide him back." Vig replied to the figure. He seemed as though he was uneffected from the wind. As if it didn't come near to startling or shocking him at all. He actually seemed quite bored with it. "You seem young yourself. Are you're parents aware of your presence here?" Vig asked the figure.

The male would simply chuckle, looking at the older male. "..No, my father is dead. That asshole Vlad is the one to blame, pardon my language. And my mother is no where to be found, but thats alright. Im 25 so i have no need to be home at the moment. I was just wondering what you two were doing out here. You, young one. Let this guy take you home. You dont need to be out at night. Vlad's men are have no issue slicing you to bits. They always say 'The animals did it'. And if anyone tries to argue with them, they get killed as well. Its pretty stupid if you ask me. And sorry by the way for that little bolt there. I was only trying to see who you all were. My name is Aequus Otium, son of Captain Archayus Otium. And you two are?" The male would extend his hand to the older of the two first, in courtesy. Although he was 21, there was something odd about him. He looked like the kind that could care less about anything. But he didnt want to be rude. The other one on the other hand tryed to go for the innocent look. But Aequus was smarter than that. Summoners are quite intellegent, and can usually tell the difference between acting and reality. With that he lifted his right cheek in a half smile towards the two, his hand still out toward the older male.
